Eleven candidates seek Chancery Court position

Chattanooga, Tennessee: The eleven candidates that are seeking to replace Judge Howell Peoples on the Hamilton County Chancery Court are being reviewed by the Tennessee Judicial Nominating Commission. This commission will nominate three people from which Gov. Bredesen will choose one to fill the position. The current candidates are: Jeffrey Michael Atherton, Valerie Wyber Epstein, Leah M. Gerbitz, Arthur C. Grisham, Linda B. Hall, B. Paul Hatcher, Joe E. Manuel, Stephany Skaggs Pedigo, Gary W. Starnes, Catherine M. White and Robert L. Widerkehr Jr.[1]
