Elisabeth "Liz" Adams is a Lee County judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. She was elected on November 7, 2006 and re-elected in 2012. Her current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3][4]

Education

Adams received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1981 and her J.D. degree from the Nova University Law School in 1985.[3]

Career

Adams began her career in 1985 as a Legal Aid attorney. In 1987, she joined the James Whitney Law Firm, where she practiced until 1990. She then opened her own law practice, emphasizing marital and family law. In 2006, she was elected to the circuit court.[3]

2012 election

Adams was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[5]
