Elisabeth N. "Betsy" Sanders is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 12 from 2004 to 2016.
Sanders did not seek re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2016.

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Mary Elizabeth Seals was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Elisabeth Sanders defeated Shawn Patrick O'Neil in the Republican primary. Sanders and O'Neil tied at 250 votes in the Republican primary. Sanders won a tiebreaker, and a recount was held to the same result, leaving Sanders as the winner.[1][2][3] Sanders defeated Seals in the general election, and was re-elected for another term.[4]

Sanders won re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Rockingham 12. Sanders was unopposed in the September 11 primary election and defeated Thomas Billbrough (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
