Elise Givhan Spainhour is a family court judge for the county of Bullitt County Family Court of the 55th Judicial Circuit. It serves Bullitt County in Kentucky.[1] Spainhour was elected to the court on in 2006 and was re-elected without opposition in 2014.[2] Her current eight-year term expires on January 1, 2023.[3]

Education
Spainhour received her undergraduate degree from the University of the South, Sewanee in 1974 and her J.D. from the Vanderbilt University Law School in 1977.[5][6]
Career
Before she became a judge, Spainhour worked as an attorney in general practice for thirty years. She has also previously served as an assistant attorney for Bullitt County.[6][7]
