My name is Elise Kibler, and I am a pediatrician at Communicare. I am running to encourage better pay for teachers and to make sure all children in the district are given all the tools they need to succeed.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• Improve teacher pay
• Improve teacher morale
• Avoid censorship of our curriculum or library

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I want to support our highly qualified teachers within the school district. They deserve strong pay that is competitive enough to routine and attract strong teachers. We also need to support students who are disenfranchised or struggling with learning difficulty or mental health struggles.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Pediatrician - have always been one

What is the primary job of a school board member in your view?

To make sure the teachers can do their job and the children are supported

The children and parents of AHISD

How would you support the diverse needs of your district’s students, faculty, staff, and community?

Rebuild equity committee
