Elise Larson
Elise Larson is a judge for District 14 of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She assumed office on July 1, 2022. Her current term ends on January 7, 2031.
Larson ran for re-election for the District 14 judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Gov. Tim Walz (D) appointed Larson to the court of appeals on April 28, 2022, to replace James B. Florey.[1]
Biography
Larson earned a B.A. from Concordia College and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.[2]
Larson's prior work experiences include: water program director and senior attorney for the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy, adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, attorney for Briggs and Morgan P.A., and law clerk for state and federal judges.[2]
