Elizabeth Ann Christ (formerly Annie Christ-Garcia) was a judge of the Marion County Superior Court in Indiana. She assumed office on January 29, 2007. She left office on April 1, 2023.

Christ (formerly Annie Christ-Garcia) ran for re-election for judge of the Marion County Superior Court in Indiana. She won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.

Christ retired from the court April 1, 2023.[1]

Education

Christ-Garcia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 1987. She earned her J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis in 1992.[2]

Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 11.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Barbara Cook Crawford, Angela Davis, David J. Dreyer, Shatrese M. Flowers, David R. Hennessy, Mark A. Jones, Christina R. Klineman, James B. Osborn, Marcel A. Pratt, Jr., Christopher K. Starkey, Greg Bowes and Karen Celestino-Horseman.

General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. There were 16 total seats up for election on this court. The top 8 Democratic candidates advanced to the general election and will be unopposed for the eight available Democratic seats.[7]
