Elizabeth Arnold
Elizabeth Arnold was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 20 of the Kansas House of Representatives.[1]
Biography
Arnold grew up in southern Johnson County, Kansas and attended Blue Valley Northwest High School. Arnold received her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College and later returned to Kansas to pursue her graduate degree at the University of Kansas. Arnold works as an ACT/SAT test prep instructor and her husband runs a small plastic food packaging company. Arnold and her husband have three children ranging in age from seven months to seven years old.[2]
Elections
2014
Elections for the Kansas House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Elizabeth Arnold was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Rob Bruchman was unopposed in the Republican primary. Bruchman defeated Arnold in the general election.[3][4]
