Elizabeth Cox grew up in Chula Vista, attended local public schools, and volunteered for community organizations. After earning her Bachelor’s in Human Services and Master’s in Public Administration, she moved to Bonita and became an active member of two homeowners’ associations.

Elizabeth was raised by public servants and has worked for and with elected officials for more than a decade. Running to serve as the South Bay Water Division #5 representative is Elizabeth’s first campaign for public office and the next step on her journey to serve, support, and improve her community.

Water is a precious resource, vital to our lives and environment. Sweetwater Authority ratepayers deserve safe and reliable drinking water at reasonable prices. If elected, Elizabeth will bring her commitment to good governance, responsible stewardship of public utilities, and excellent customer service to the residents and businesses served by the water district.
