Elizabeth Hodges
Elizabeth "Lisa" Hodges is a district court judge for the 2nd Judicial District in Virginia.[1] She was appointed to the court by Governor Bob McDonnell in August 2013.[2]
Education
Hodges received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary. She became a licensed attorney through a legal apprenticeship, also known as "reading the law". Virginia is one of six states that allow this practice.[2]
Career
Before her appointment to the court, Hodges was a staff attorney for the Geico Insurance Company.[3]
