My name is Elizabeth Pandich, and I am a proud mother, wife, and small business owner. A lifelong advocate for hard work, fairness, and community, I'm seeking to represent Florida's 21st Congressional District because I believe we need to elect someone who wishes to stand up for everyone in the district, regardless of race, religion, economic status, or political affiliation. I'm a proud Floridian with a common-sense approach rooted in fairness and opportunity, and I look forward to earning voters' trust and support every step of the way.
  • Protecting veterans and social security
  • Returning transparency and honesty to Congress
  • Safeguarding insurance
Civil rights, social security and insurance, veterans, the connection between the environment and the economy, and education.
Jon Stewart. Whenever I need inspiration to fight, I rewatch his epic speech at a sparse Congressional Hearing on June 11, 2019. His fight for the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund continues today amidst DOGE cuts, and I believe every politician, including myself, needs to try to live up to his desire to create positive change.
I am a perpetual student of anything I am passionate about. I believe issues faced in office are dynamic and fluid, whereas most politicians' perspectives remain stagnant. I have the ability to adapt to policy issues when given the evolving problems faced by constituents.
Adequately representing the interests of your constituents and working every day to advocate for the district, not yourself.
A legacy of honesty and integrity. Throughout inflection points in our country's history, such as the housing market crash and COVID-19, we've seen the American people suffer while elected officials profited. It disrespects constituents and creates distrust between communities and those representing them. I wish to leave a legacy reflecting the transparency often missing in politics, and I will work to ensure that our communities get the representation they deserve.
9/11 --I was a freshman in college, lying down in my dorm room, when a friend came running into my room to turn on the TV. At that moment, my father was chaperoning a field trip in Washington, D.C., and phones weren't working. I remember seeing my friend's dad's name scroll across the screen as one of the victims of the flight that crashed into the Pentagon.
I worked at a local, family-owned children's clothing store when I was 16 years old. I worked there for 2 years. I still visit the owners and have brought my daughter there to shop.
Cat's Cradle is one of my favorites because of nostalgia. I remember being a freshman in high school and having the "a-ha" moment when the history classes, the stories my parents told around the dinner table, and a book all tied together and made sense on a deeper level.
The biggest struggle in my life occurred at a young age when I lost my aunt, uncle, and cousin to an act of violence. As a child, I learned first-hand how vital community support and justice are. The tragedy that struck my family led me to horses-- first, as a type of therapy, and later, as a passion, which resulted in opening my own business in the equestrian industry. Once elected to Congress, I will bring my understanding of justice and community with me and ensure that constituents feel understood and fought for.
It can be beneficial, but it isn't a prerequisite to becoming a successful member of Congress. While I don't have previous political experience, I entered this race as a small business owner who understands the need to bring in revenue while creating a fair and inclusive environment. I will apply my knowledge and success as a business owner to Congress, ensuring constituents have their interests advocated for, from social security to job creation.
I do. If elected to Congress, it will be the honor of a lifetime, but all members of Congress need to continue proving themselves to voters. Holding a seat in Congress is a privilege, not a right, and I support the current term length.
Melanie Stansbury is wowing me at this moment. She does her homework, doesn't back down, and uses her words impactfully.
Agriculture, Small Business, and Education and Workforce
Financial transparency is a fundamental aspect of my campaign. Once elected, I will support any legislation that bars members of Congress from trading stocks while in office. It is an honor to be a member of Congress, and I will respect the institution by using my time in Congress to advance constituents' finances, not my own.
