Elizabeth Ray
Elizabeth Ray was the judge for the 165th Judicial District Court in Texas. She was elected on November 6, 2012, and retired in March 2015.[1][2]
Education
Ray received her J.D. from Baylor University.[2]
Career
Prior to her judicial election, Ray was in private practice. She was previously a district court judge for Harris County from 1992 to 2008. After she lost the 2008 election, she became general counsel, chief administrative officer and chief compliance officer for the company Water Standard.[2]

Ray ran for election to the 165th District Court and defeated incumbent Josefina Rendon with 50.6 percent of the vote.[3][1]
