Elizabeth Anne Starrs
Elizabeth Anne Starrs is a former judge for the Second Judicial District Court of Colorado.[1] She served on the court from 2012 to 2020. Starrs was first appointed to the court by Governor John Hickenlooper on July 3, 2012, effective September 7, 2012.[2] She was later retained by voters in 2014 for a six-year term. [3] Starrs resigned from the court before the end of her term on July 1, 2020.[4]
Education
Starrs earned her B.A. in Communications from University of Michigan in 1975 and her J.D. from Suffolk University in 1980.[5]
Career
Before her appointment in 2012, Starrs ran her own firm, Starrs Mihm LLP. Before starting the firm she worked with Kennedy & Christopher PC, formerly known as Cooper & Kelley PC.[2]
Elections
2014
Starrs was retained to the Second Judicial District with 74.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [6]
Judicial performance evaluation
