Stone won the Democratic Party primary on May 17. She received 20.4 percent in the Democratic primary and 5.8 percent of the vote in the Republican primary.[1] She was defeated by Thomas A. Placey and Christylee Peck in the general election on November 8, receiving only 23 percent of the vote.[2]

Education

Stone earned her undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College in 1982. She earned her J.D. from Vermont Law School in 1990.[3]

Professional career

After her admission to the bar Stone worked as a clerk for York County Court of Common Pleas, Pennsylvania. She then served as Assistant Counsel to Terrence Fitzpatrick in 1992. She then served as an Assistant Public Defender for Dauphin County, Pennsylvania from 1992 until 1996. She went on to work in private practice until 2010 when she founded her own law firm.[3]
