My name is Elizabeth Tedder. I am a simple woman. I am a God-fearing American, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a niece, a cousin, and a friend. I have experienced love and loss, sorrow and joy, grace and mercy, trauma and tragedy. I have persevered through it all. I am one of the people for the people.
  • I seek to establish more in-depth rehabilitation programs for those suffering from addiction. I seek stronger penalties for the dealers and manufacturers of the drugs. Fentanyl is poisoning our children, our sons and daughters. I seek more ways and more funding to help combat this crisis. I seek more ways to assist law enforcement agencies to help keep drugs off of our streets. To close the borders and ports to help eliminate points of entry that add more dealers, drugs, and manufacturers to our communities. I can tell you from experience I know where the dealers of this poison live but until they can catch them with enough to bring them down, they continue to live free and keep on dealing this poison to our loved ones.
  • Fentanyl is not the only point of poisoning going on in this country, in this state, in this county, in this town, in this neighborhood. Manufacturers of our food system, are poisoning us a little bit at a time. Cancers are at an all-time high, so many different types. These chemicals are reacting in our bodies and some do not fare well. We are consuming mass amounts of pharmaceuticals multiple times a day and wonder why we stay so sick. We need to go old school and grow and harvest our food for our family. Learn to identify the plants and trees around us to harvest and use as remedies for our ailments and maladies. Folks read your labels. Additives and other things are added to enhance the quality, flavor, and appearance of our food.
  • People do not always like when I say we need less government and more communities and churches pulling together to help the less fortunate and to teach men how to fish rather than just giving them some fish. We need to give people a hand-up and not a handout. Help them to grow and strive to thrive, just as we were designed. We must show love and compassion to those around us instead of all this division and hate. We who are called to be the children of God and to govern, need to start representing in that love and crossing the aisles to pass bills that need to be passed to protect the people who have voted you into office. Make sure we are serving those we represent instead of worrying about which side we are on politically.
I am personally passionate about the drug crisis, the human trafficking crisis, the border crisis, and the inflation crisis.
Every elected official should be an honest and morally sound individual. They must think more of serving their constituents than serving themselves.
I am one of the regular working people and I have a close perspective to the challenges we are facing.
An elected official’s core responsibilities are to serve the people. They are too see the needs of the people and seek the best and most efficient way possible to help them. They should be active in their communities and district to see what the people need.
A better and safer world for my children and grandchildren.
My very first job was at a video store for over three years.
Wonder Woman because she was a strong woman helping those in need of protecting.
Watching those around me suffer with no way of solving the problem. So now I am running hoping to do just that.
Our greatest challenges will be overcoming the financial mess we are facing. We will also be challenged at fixing the border crisis we face. We are also challenged in fighting the war on drugs and human trafficking.
There should be term limits on every office. No more career politicians.
The loss of children to fentanyl poisoning is a very personal story to our community where I live. In the last few years we have lost many children in York County, South Carolina. This has impacted so many families that are seeking help from the government to fight this crisis.
I believe it is to some degree, however something cannot be compromised.
The investigative powers should be used to end corruption in government institutions. It should be used to protect the interests of the people.
Drug and human trafficking and border security committees interest me.
Government should be completely transparent and accountable for every penny.
