Biography
Elizabeth Tucker was born in Los Angeles, California. Tucker's career experience includes working as a superior court commissioner. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1992 and a law degree from the University of California College of the Law in 1995.[1]

|In 2018, the Judges of Riverside County vetted and selected me to be a Superior Court Commissioner. In that capacity, I preside over courtrooms with the same responsibilities and authority as a Superior Court Judge. In my courtroom, I am decisive, fair and firm. I have received all of the required training to be a Judge, am a proud member of the California Judge's Association and do not require any additional training to begin the job of Superior Court Judge.
I have raised two children in Riverside County. My son is a junior at UC Berkeley and my daughter is a freshman at UC Santa Barbara. I have given back and improved my community in a variety of ways and have helped shape the future of Riverside County's youth. As a 14 year member of Rotary Club of Indio, I believe in "Service Above Self". I have also volunteered with Riverside County's Mock Trial program, Girl Scouts and National Charity League.- Experience matters: I have over 6 years of judicial experience as a Superior Court Commissioner. I already preside over criminal, civil, juvenile, probate and traffic courts as a judicial officer with the same responsibilities and authority as a Judge. I have received all of the required training needed to be a Superior Court Judge and will save tax payer money as I do not require any additional training to be a Superior Court Judge. In 2018, the Judges of Riverside County selected me from over 130 candidates to serve as a Superior Court Commissioner. I am endorsed by the Presiding and Assistant Presiding Judge of Riverside County, over 70 judges and am a member of the California Judge's Association.
- I am dedicated to ensuring justice, safety and protection to our community. I was an award winning Riverside County Deputy District Attorney for 23 years. I kept our community safe by prosecuting perpetrators of serious and violent felonies including child abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence. I focused on protecting children from physical harm and sexual assault. I have extensive experience in juvenile proceedings and worked in juvenile diversion programs through schools that helped keep kids out of the legal system. I have worked in the collaborative court system finding alternative solutions to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. I have a remarkable level of courtroom expertise and dedication to justice.
- I am dedicated to improving Riverside County, have been volunteering in my community for three decades and believe in "Service Above Self". I am a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Indio. I have been assisting with the Riverside County Mock Trial Program since 1996 and have coached high school students who have become licensed attorneys. I have been a youth mentor, Youth Court advisor, Girl Scout Troop Leader, member of National Charity League, Women Leaders Forum, Woman's Club of Indio and have volunteered at many nonprofit organizations including FIND Food Bank, Mama's House and Animal Samaritans. I have worked tirelessly to make Riverside County a better place for all.
