I have been a Riverside County public servant for 29 years. In 1995, I was recruited from Hastings College of Law by the Riverside County District Attorney's Office and began my legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Indio, California. I was an award winning Deputy District Attorney for 23 years prosecuting perpetrators of serious and violent felonies including child abuse, sexual assaults and domestic violence. I was a successful trial attorney, worked tirelessly to keep our community safe and have a wide variety of courtroom experience.

In 2018, the Judges of Riverside County vetted and selected me to be a Superior Court Commissioner. In that capacity, I preside over courtrooms with the same responsibilities and authority as a Superior Court Judge. In my courtroom, I am decisive, fair and firm. I have received all of the required training to be a Judge, am a proud member of the California Judge's Association and do not require any additional training to begin the job of Superior Court Judge.

I have raised two children in Riverside County. My son is a junior at UC Berkeley and my daughter is a freshman at UC Santa Barbara. I have given back and improved my community in a variety of ways and have helped shape the future of Riverside County's youth. As a 14 year member of Rotary Club of Indio, I believe in "Service Above Self". I have also volunteered with Riverside County's Mock Trial program, Girl Scouts and National Charity League.
  • Experience matters: I have over 6 years of judicial experience as a Superior Court Commissioner. I already preside over criminal, civil, juvenile, probate and traffic courts as a judicial officer with the same responsibilities and authority as a Judge. I have received all of the required training needed to be a Superior Court Judge and will save tax payer money as I do not require any additional training to be a Superior Court Judge. In 2018, the Judges of Riverside County selected me from over 130 candidates to serve as a Superior Court Commissioner. I am endorsed by the Presiding and Assistant Presiding Judge of Riverside County, over 70 judges and am a member of the California Judge's Association.
  • I am dedicated to ensuring justice, safety and protection to our community. I was an award winning Riverside County Deputy District Attorney for 23 years. I kept our community safe by prosecuting perpetrators of serious and violent felonies including child abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence. I focused on protecting children from physical harm and sexual assault. I have extensive experience in juvenile proceedings and worked in juvenile diversion programs through schools that helped keep kids out of the legal system. I have worked in the collaborative court system finding alternative solutions to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. I have a remarkable level of courtroom expertise and dedication to justice.
  • I am dedicated to improving Riverside County, have been volunteering in my community for three decades and believe in "Service Above Self". I am a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Indio. I have been assisting with the Riverside County Mock Trial Program since 1996 and have coached high school students who have become licensed attorneys. I have been a youth mentor, Youth Court advisor, Girl Scout Troop Leader, member of National Charity League, Women Leaders Forum, Woman's Club of Indio and have volunteered at many nonprofit organizations including FIND Food Bank, Mama's House and Animal Samaritans. I have worked tirelessly to make Riverside County a better place for all.
I am passionate about helping children and families in our community. As a Superior Court Commissioner, I have presided over both Juvenile Justice and Juvenile Dependency Courts. As a Deputy District Attorney, I worked for years in various juvenile assignments working with minors and families. In addition, I have volunteered for decades with many programs aimed at assisting young people including mock trial, youth court, Girl Scouts, National Charity League, Youth in Government and many non profit organizations. As a Superior Court Judge, I intend to continue my outreach in the community and to help children and families. Riverside County deserves to have an experienced and dedicated public servant to help the children who reside here.
Judges need to be decisive, firm and fair. They are required to actively listen to everyone in the courtroom and give equitable consideration to every litigant's position. I have the qualities that are needed to be a successful judge as I am open minded, efficient and impartial. I evaluate evidence through an unbiased lens and provide every person an opportunity to be heard. I have a broad range of support for my candidacy including Deputy District Attorneys, Deputy Public Defenders, Police Officers, Probation Officers, mental health professionals, teachers, community leaders and other judicial officers including over 70 Judges.
Riverside County needs experienced judicial officers to assist with the large caseloads our courts handle. I am the only candidate with judicial experience that can immediately help our over burdened courts. I am already serving as a Riverside County Judicial Officer and have completed all of the training required to be a judge. I will save our taxpayer's money as I do not require any additional training. I am an experienced judicial officer and am endorsed by over 70 Judges including the Presiding and Assistant Presiding Judge of Riverside County. I am a member of the California Judge's Association.
Riverside County Presiding Judge Judith Clark, Riverside County Assistant Presiding Judge Jacqueline Jackson, over 70 Judges and Commissioners, Blythe Police Officer's Association, Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz, Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Edwin Gomez, Assembly Member Dr. Corey Jackson, Assembly Member Eduardo Garcia, Former District Attorney for Del Norte County Joseph Daily, Chief of Police for Blythe Police Department Garth Dale, Assistant Riverside County CEO Michelle Paradise, California NOW.
