Ellen Hobbs Lyle
Ellen Hobbs Lyle is a chancellor for the Davidson County Chancery Court (Twentieth Judicial District) in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lyle served on the court from 1995 to 1996. She was reappointed to the seat and was re-elected in 2006 and 2014.[1][2][3][4][5]

Education
Lyle received both her undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Tennessee in 1978 and 1981, respectively.[1]
Career
Lyle began her career as an associate attorney with the Texas law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski. She then worked as a partner for the firm of Trabue, Sturdivant & DeWitt from 1984 until she became a chancellor in 1995.[1][2]
