Elliot Quinones
Elliot Quinones (Democratic Party) ran for election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 85. Quinones was disqualified from the Democratic primary scheduled on June 28, 2022.
Quinones was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 32 of the New York State Senate.
Quinones was a 2016 candidate for District 17 of the New York City Council in New York. He filed for the special election, but was removed from the ballot after the city's Board of Elections determined that his petition did not meet the minimum requirement of 450 valid signatures.[1] Quinones was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 32 of the New York State Senate. He was removed from the ballot before the primary.[2]
Biography
Quinones earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and taxation from Pace University. He has worked as a budget officer, internal audit director, and chief financial officer for a number of municipal hospitals and nonprofit organizations.[3]

Elections for the New York State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Incumbent Ruben Diaz was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jasmine Marte was unopposed in the Conservative primary. Elliot Quinones (D) and David M. Johnson (IND) were removed from the ballot before the primaries. Diaz also ran on the Republican ticket. Diaz defeated Marte in the general election.[8][9][10]
