Elliott L. Epstein was a judicial candidate for the probate court in Androscoggin County, Maine.[1]

Epstein ran for election to the Androscoggin County Probate Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 10, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 40.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Michael L. Dubois.

Education
Epstein received his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University Foreign Service School in 1969. He obtained a master's degree from the Imperial College of the University of London in 1971. He went on to earn his J.D. from the Maine School of Law in 1978.[3]
Career
Epstein is a trial lawyer practicing with the firm of Pickus and Epstein, Esq. He is also a published author. He writes a column for the Lewiston Sun Journal and has published a book titled Lucifer's Child, which tells the story of a 1984 child murder.[3]
