Elmwood, Kingston & Wells Township Road Levy Renewals, 3 (August 2010)
Three Township Road Levy Renewal measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the townships of Elmwood, Kingston and Wells which are in Tuscola County.
All three measures were approved
Th Elmwood township measure sought to renew the current road levy of $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further nine years in order to pay for the maintenance of roads in the township.
The Kingston township measure sought to renew the current road levy of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further three years in order to pay for the maintenance of roads in the township.
The Wells township measure sought to increase the current road levy of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further eight years in order to pay for the maintenance construction and repair of the roads in the township.[1]
