The question on the ballot:
Shall the City of Elsberry impose a one cent per gallon tax on the sale of fuel used for propelling motor vehicles; the tax to be used for the purpose of construction, reconstruction, maintenance, repair, signing, lighting, and cleaning roads and streets?[3] |
