ADVOCACY – As a legislative consultant Elvin has been a constant voice for working families and small businesses. PUBLIC SERVICE – Connecting people with resources and accesses has been Elvin’s passion for over 10 years.- the hardworking, creative and giving people of Lansing`s Fourth Ward and they want responsive representation present at all the necessary committee and council meetings prepared to go to work on their behalf everyday. I am running to do just that.
- The Fourth Ward needs a fresh approach. A new start with real change. Where people can see that your elected leadership is accountable to you and recognize that they work for you.
- My top issues are public safety, economic development, quality of life for city residents and employees, vibrant neighborhoods and regional collaboration.

WORKING FAMILIES – Create jobs, economic development, and encourage entrepreneurship
DIGNITY AS A TOP PRIORITY- Draft & Support policies that make the city a safe place to live and work
