Emily Hibard is a small business owner and non-profit organizational efficiency consultant.  Her family business has been manufacturing paper goods in Southern California for over seventy years and she is the author of three nonprofit books that help people start their own nonprofit organizations. In addition, Hibard consults with existing organizations to ensure program efficiency and effectiveness.

Emily Hibard is running for Assembly to make our neighborhoods safe again and to use her personal experience to explain to the Sacramento politicians the harmful effect these “soft on crime” policies have on victims. Public safety is personal for Emily.  In 1949, Her grandfather, a U.S. Marine, married her grandmother, a Mexican immigrant, and, together, started the family business in South Los Angeles. By 1992, the family was forced to move our family business because of gangs, violence and riots.

It was Emily’s job to run around with the garden hose and put out the fires that happened when the Molotov cocktails got thrown at their family business and neighboring businesses. Emily was only 12 years old.

Worse yet, as a young adult, she was robbed at a bank in Whittier, CA.

So it is ingrained in Emily’s mind, how important it is to live in a safe neighborhood. Emily Hibard is running for Assembly to make our neighborhoods safe again and to explain to the Sacramento politicians the harmful effect these “soft on crime” policies have on victims. www.EmilyServes.com
  • Emily Hibard is a Business Owner, Tax-Fighter, and will be Tough On Crime. Emily Hibard Will FIGHT Democrat Soft-On-Crime Policies, Strengthen Punishment For Theft By Repealing Prop. 47, End Reduced Prison Sentences By Repealing Prop. 57 , End Jerry Brown’s “Prison Realignment” Scheme By Repealing AB109, Eliminate Early Release By Repealing Prop. 57, and Fight Against “Zero Bail” Policies. Public Safety Is Personal For Emily Hibard! Emily Hibard is running for Assembly to make our neighborhoods safe again and to explain to the Sacramento politicians the harmful effect these “soft on crime” policies have on victims.
  • Emily Hibard will never vote to raise taxes or fees. Emily is proud to be the only AD70 candidate to sign the “No New Taxes” pledge. "I would encourage all my Republican opponents in the AD70 race to do the same. Republicans in Sacramento must stand united against higher taxes. If I am elected, I will never vote for a fee or a tax! The government already takes too much of our hard earned money. Since the “Americans for Tax Reform” began promoting the Taxpayer Protection Pledge with the endorsement of President Reagan in 1986, nearly 1,400 elected officials, from state representative to governor to US Senator, have signed the Pledge.
  • “I am so proud to have the endorsement of the California Republican Assembly. To receive 2/3rd of the votes from all of the chapters in the 70th Assembly District really shows the deep conservative support our campaign has. In a race with the most candidates in California, I thought it was nearly impossible, but this endorsement from the “Conscience of the Republican Party” proves that I am the one candidate in this race that will be a relentless voice for safe neighborhoods and for business-friendly policies.” said Hibard. “ I think my positive message, plus my personal experience with crime, will be hard for these Sacramento politicians to ignore.” Republican Assembly Candidate Emily Hibard Received 2/3 Of The Votes For GOP Endorsement.

In 1949, her grandfather, a U.S. Marine, married her grandmother, a Mexican immigrant, and, together, started the family business in South Central Los Angeles.

Emily Hibard is running for Assembly to make our neighborhoods safe again and to explain to the Sacramento politicians the harmful effect these “soft on crime” policies have on victims.

Specifically, Proposition 47 and 57 have given criminals the green light to commit crimes. Often times, they're released from jail only hours after they're arrested.

This has to stop! Together, we can reverse these “soft-on-crime” policies.

Emily believes that her personal, first-hand accounts of the effect of crime, plus her relentless “pro-public safety” message will really be a thorn in the side of these career politicians and it will force them to moderate some of these dangerously bad ideas.
