Emily Ruben
Emily Ruben is a judge for the New York County Family Court in New York County, New York. She was appointed to the court by Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio on June 2, 2015.[1]
Education
Ruben received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her J.D. from the New York University Law School.[1][2]
Career
Prior to her appointment to the New York County Family Court, Ruben worked for the Legal Aid Society as the attorney-in-charge of the Brooklyn Neighborhood Office for 18 years. She also served as a co-supervisor for the Domestic Violence Project and as a supervising attorney for the Citywide Family Law Unit.[1]
