Emily Sirota (Democratic Party) is a member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 9. She assumed office on January 4, 2019. Her current term ends on January 12, 2027.
Sirota (Democratic Party) is running for election to the Colorado State Senate to represent District 32. She declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on June 30, 2026.[source]
Biography
Representative Sirota graduated with B.A. in political science at Indiana University and later received her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. Early in her career, she worked for the Colorado Progressive Coalition and ran for Denver school board. Later, she served as a policy aide to a U.S. Senator, a congressman, and a governor.[1]
