Emmanuel Blimie here! Democratic Candidate for Florida House of Representative District 12, CEO at 1

Step Up Records, a former handicapped and wheel-chaired bound Teacher and Transportation Director.

Husband to a gorgeously beautiful woman, my junior high school crush and father to our two children

Emmanuel Jr., and Melinda.

My story is a successful Immigrant story because of hard work & God's continuous blessings upon my

life. I work extremely hard to get here. You can rest assured that I will work honestly harder for you when

you vote for me. And when I am elected your State Representative.

My journey to Florida started out on what was a move for Graduate School at Nova Southeastern

University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

I had gone to Community College on scholarships and transferred to Southwest Minnesota State

University where I earned a Bachelor degree in Public Administration. Thanks to the Rotary Club

Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Dave W. Anderson founder of Famous Dave Restaurant for informing my

undergraduate degree's decision .

I was elected Student Body Vice President of the Student Government Association at Southwest

Minnesota State University without a bid for the office.

That experience introduced me into politics, and taught me a valuable life lesson. Your accent and race
aren't necessarily a disqualifying factor when you are sincere and honest and hard working.
  • Invest in the Youth: Harnessing the strengths of Congregations/Nonprofits to stir Youth with high propensity for crime in the right direction and safeguard their future.
  • Incentivize Businesses including banks that come and invest into disadvantage Communities and create good jobs, giving bad off Communities face-lifts.
  • Introduce database for Police Officers, and forge a strong Community-Police partnership program that addresses inequalities, so that Police Officers are NOT only visible at pull-overs, crime scenes and arrests.
Investing in the Youth.

Incentivizing businesses to come and create good Jobs.
Increasing Education Funding.

Forging a strong Community-Police partnership program
As the found of AF-RiCh (A Family Rich In Christ) Lifestyle, I have always wanted to be like Jesus Christ

since eight or nine year old. Jesus, according to the Bible lived a simple life. Jesus showed respect for

Godly things and exercise authority with humility. Jesus helped folks live a happy and fulfilled life. Jesus

never judged anyone. As a matter of fact, Jesus said let anyone without sin throw the first stone and they

all walked away one by one to their homes and so pretty much in the eyes of Jesus we are all stained and

so that right there helps me to refrain from judging anyone and their personal decision. That is why I am

huge on taking government out of your personal life and leaving personal decision to the

individual conscious.

Definitely, 9/11. And I wrote a poem on that day entitled "Why the USA?" commemorating the anguish

and pain that I felt.

I was 16 years old at Park Center Senior High School in JavaScript Class.
First off, for the record. I am the ONLY Candidate in this race NOT taking salary. My opponent is looking

out for his Pocket and Donors. That is why, I am advocating a stipend only payout for Lawmakers so that

Lawmakers are paid for real work done and not paid out of your pocket while working for their Donors.

My first job was as a Student Speaker for Help Increase the Peace Program or HIPP for short. This was in

the ninth grade at Northeast High School on Cottman Avenue in Philadelphia. So, my check said $25 per

hour and this was in ninth grade. And I couldn't believe my eyes.

I held on to that job until the school year ended. School year ended and I was still out volunteering in the

summer and getting pay. I mean, honestly, why would any ninth grader want to give that up but I had to

so others could assume leadership.

What's In Me Comes Alive! Because I wrote it.
This was written and sung by me. "Baby, You Can Do It"
Slowing down my high metabolism. I am one of those people who can eat anything, ice cream, hot dogs,

potato chips and do not know where they end up because my weight isn't significantly altered. I am

eating the fat off my stake and if my drink is sugar free I do not want it because I can't taste the

richness that I get from eating sugar filled and fatty food.
Pretty much the House of Representative attends to the Constituents needs way faster than the Senate

and that's due to House's two year term. In other words, Senate moves slower on their feet than the

House and this is due to term difference. The House is also different in that Laws affecting revenue start

from the House.
Yes, and No.

Yes, because you could aid in helping guide the newcomers into legislating. I remembered

my days as a Student Body Vice President at Southwest Minnesota State

University. Experience was needed to execute the Standard Operating Procedures and retain order in

session.

No, because experience maybe the main ingredient behind profitable legislating.

That is why I am the only Candidate not taking salary as your representative. And fighting for legislation

to pay Lawmakers stipends for work that they do for the Taxpayers instead of salary.

Most experienced politicians like my opponent Clay Yarborough (R) for example are pretty much using

experience to their advantage writing, introducing and passing legislation and benefiting their Donors

and enriching themselves. Hands down, Clay Yarborough's a seasoned politician. He's sold Duval

County for the last years on "Tested and Trusted, Principled Leadership" only for Taxpayers to learn

through a WJCT New Article that Clay et al, sponsored a bill that gives away ONE million of Taxpayers'

dollars to ONE Charter School belonging to ONE of Clay Yarborough's Donors.

Clay's focus was just this ONE School belonging to a Donor when Clay could have introduced bill

funding ALL Schools within the District across the board.

A consensus and problem solving abilities that are strategic on compromising for the good of Florida.
Definitely. That's the cornerstone of legislating and bringing different ideas into a focus point,

addressing the myriads of Citizens' concerns.
I favor an independent commission with legislation in place where members selected to draw the district

are not public officials or legislators and are prohibited from running for public office in the district

that they draw for certain time.

Senator Howard C Forman (1989 to 2000) is my friend and like my wife would say a mentor because he's

got tons of good things to say to my wife about me and I appreciate that.
Focus is on winning Florida State Representative District 12 and doing my Constituents' job and not taking

salary as Representative.
My wife called me a few minutes ago, and said that her best friend's sister, a trained Nurse four months

pregnant just passed away from COVID-19 leaving behind her 13 years old son.

This Nurse sacrificed two lives helping COVID-19 Patients.

She contracted the disease and died on July 4th.

I gathered some courage to console my crying wife. I offered my condolences and said that she died a

shero. My hope is that you will do all that you can to limit the spread of COVID-19 so that folks in this

District aren't at risk because of our selfishness and refusal to wear masks . Do your part.

My mother works as a Nurse. That got me really thinking again about Essential Workers.

I called my mother immediately afterward just to say, "I Love You, Mom!"
