What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
My top three priorities would be: a) property tax relief. The major tax burden in New Hampshire is carried by property taxpayers, residential and commercial. This puts excessive burden on homeowners and small businesses. The tax is regressive. It is not related to the ability to pay. It creates an unfair, uneven tax burden from municipality to municipality. It pits one portion of the community against another. In particular the citizens on fixed incomes are asked to pay for the rising cost of education and other municipal services at a time when they can least afford to do so. B) the opioid epidemic: The state must take much stronger actions, including the allocation of financial resources, to help local communities and voluntary groups combat the problem of drug addiction. This is part of the need for a better healthcare system. C) Education: education is critical to both informed and capable citizenry and is a fundamental basis for economic growth and prosperity
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about the three topics mentioned above. In addition I am passionate about economic justice and social justice. Every member of our society should have this close to an equal opportunity to succeed and fulfill themselves and their dreams, as we can provide. Economic status of birth: race, gender, religion, nationality, or sexual identity they should not a on a disadvantage.

I admire Eleanor Roosevelt, Dennis Kucinich, Nelson Mandela, Hugo Black, Bernie Sanders, Martin Luther King Jr., they were all willing to stand up, and speak out for justice.
