Emmet L. Cosgrove

Emmet L. Cosgrove is a judge on the New London District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] He was appointed to the bench 2001 by Governor John Rowland.[2]
Education
Cosgrove earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1974[3]
Career
Before being appointed to the bench, Cosgrove was a partner at the law firm of Andrews, Cosgrove, Young and Garrity in New London. He also served as town attorney for the Town of Waterford. Cosgrove served as an attorney trial referee for ten years and a special master for approximately three to four years. Since 1996, he has served as a judge on the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Disputes Court. After graduation from law school, he worked as a lawyer for the Environmental Protection Agency in West Hartford.[3]
