The Committee on Energy and Environment was a standing committee of the Hawaii State Senate.
Function
The 2013 Hawaii Senate rules described the function of this committee as outlined below.
“ | The purview of this committee includes those programs relating to energy resources, including the development of alternative energy resources; population; and environmental quality control and protection, including litter control, recycling, wastewater treatment, endangered species, invasive species and hazardous waste.[1][2] | ” |
