This measure sought to renew the current expenses levy which is set at a rate of $.165 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current operational costs in the city.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the City of Englewood for the purpose of CURRENT OPERATING EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 1.65 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.165 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
