Enid Martinez-Gonzalez
Enid Martinez-Gonzalez was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 3 of the Illinois House of Representatives. She was removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014, after the Board of Election Commissioners for the City of Chicago found that Martinez-Gonzalez had an insufficient amount of valid signatures.[1]

Elections for the Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent Luis Arroyo was set to face Enid Martinez-Gonzalez in the Democratic primary, but Martinez-Gonzalez was removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014, leaving Arroyo unopposed. Arroyo was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4]
