Enrique Matos was a Republican candidate for Sixteenth Essex, Massachusetts House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010 state legislative election. Matos fled communist Cuba and moved to Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1968.[1]

Matos ran for election to the Sixteenth Essex seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He was defeated by Marcos Devers (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.
