Campaign website

Hernandez's campaign website stated the following:

My Vision

Fairness

Fairness is the foundation of real justice. As Justice of the Peace, I will ensure every case is approached with an open mind, without bias or favoritism-whether it's a small claims dispute, an eviction hearing, or a student facing truancy. I believe every person deserves a level playing field, where the law is applied equally, and the outcome is based on the facts—not on who you are or who you know. Fairness means giving every voice a chance to be heard and every person a chance to be understood.

Respect

Justice requires dignity and compassion. Our community is made up of hardworking people from all walks of life. Many come to court during some of the most stressful moments of their lives. I will ensure everyone-regardless of background, language, or circumstance-is treated with the dignity they deserve. That means clear communication, cultural sensitivity, and a courtroom that feels accessible not intimidating.

Experience

You can't teach experience-and I bring 34 years of it. I've worked in the courtroom for over two decades, supporting judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement. I know how the system works, where it fails people, and how to make it better. That experience matters, especially when lives, livelihoods, and justice are on the line.I'm prepared to make tough decisions, navigate complex cases, and serve our precinct from day one with confidence and clarity.
