Eric A. Richardson is a judge of the Fulton County State Court in Georgia. His current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Richardson ran for re-election for judge of the Fulton County State Court in Georgia. He won in the general election on May 24, 2022.
Richardson was first appointed to this position by Governor Nathan Deal on July 31, 2013, to replace Susan B. Forsling.[1]
Education
Richardson received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Rochester and his J.D. degree from Cornell Law School.[1]
Career
Richardson was the deputy city attorney for Atlanta, Georgia prior to his appointment to the Fulton State Court in 2013.[1]

Judges of the Georgia State Courts are elected to four-year terms.[2] The elections for this court are nonpartisan, contested elections. To serve on this court, a judge must be a state resident for at least three years, a county resident, admitted to practice law for at least seven years, and at least 25 years of age.[3]
