Eric Brosten was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the At-Large Congressional District of Montana. Brosten was defeated by Steve Daines in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012.[1]

Brosten is a Great Falls native who lives in Helena. Upon graduating from Helena High School in 1973, he went on to obtain his B.A. in mechanical engineering from Montana State University in 1982.[2]
