Campaign website

Ching’s campaign website stated the following:

For Our Country I Will:

Support and Defend the Constitution of the United States
I will support our rights to the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly and the right to petition the government.
I will support our rights to keep and bear arms.
I will support our rights to be protected from unreasonable searches and seizures and sets out requirements for search warrants based on probable cause.
I will work on ensuring our federal laws follow the Constitution of the United States of America.
Boost Border Security
We share approximately 7,000 miles of land, river, lake, and coastal borders with Canada and Mexico. These borders are gateways to our economic prosperity as well as our security and national sovereignty. I will promote legal trade and tourism while supporting ways to best secure our border from the illegal movement of weapons, drugs, contraband, and people.
Ensuring Transparency, Integrity, and Honesty in our Government
The main functions of governments are to establish laws to maintain order, provide service, and protect people. The government’s power should be used appropriately within existing constitutional boundaries and current laws. I will support laws which promote the highest transparency, integrity, and honesty in our government. I will support laws that keep government officials’ compensations reasonable. I will support term limits for federal, state, and local officials.

For Our Families I Will:

Keep our Community Safe by Being Tough on Crime
I will support due process and prohibit self-incrimination and double jeopardy. I will support a speedy public trial by jury and oppose excessive fines and excessive bail, as well as cruel and unusual punishment.
We must protect our homes, schools, businesses, and neighborhoods from criminals by ways of deterrence. I support showing mercy, but we must seek proper justice for those who commit crimes. I will support laws that hold officials accountable who selectively neglect to do their jobs.
Criminals should pay restitution to society and their victims for what they have committed. Additionally, I will work on setting up policies to help victims financially and to help them get their lives back.
As a mental health advocate, I have teamed up with organizations to support those who are struggling with homelessness as a result of mental illness. I will support legislation to encourage various treatment centers to help victims with substance abuse and to make sure that they are cared for properly to return back to their lives.
Maintain High Educational Standards, Restore Parental Rights, and Prevent Identity-Based Entrance Policies
As a proud parent of two wonderful daughters who graduated from public schools, I will help schools maintain high standards. I support school choice, and I will empower parents to use their ability to decide which schools are best for their kids. I will oppose any identity-based entrance policies or racially divisive material from being part of school curriculums. I believe that we need to be fair in choosing which schools our children are able to attend.
Encourage and Promote Economic Growth
As a business owner, I understand that it is vital to provide businesses with a steady environment. I will support the removal of burdensome regulations while promoting legislation to aid and protect U.S.-based businesses and workers from unfair practices within the United States of America and foreign entities.[2]

Expand all | Collapse all

While we may all have different political, religious, or social views, we all share a common interest to pursue a better future.

As a first-generation immigrant, successful businessman, father, and man of faith, I have a proven track record serving as Mayor and council member, making the City of Walnut one of the best cities to live in.

As your congressman, I will improve the economy, secure the border, protect our unborn, advocate for education, and defend our constitution. Because God and you come first.
  • You First, I serve God and I serve you. Your interests come first.
  • Safety, Economy, and Education are the fundamentals to a better future, and I will ensure these keys for all.
  • As a first-generation immigrant, America is my country and I want all to have their American Dream!
I am personally passionate about defending The Constitution and our civil rights.
That I improved people's lives.
The first historic event was my moving to the United States in 1982, I was 15 years old.
My first job was a dishwasher, I worked it for about a year.
The Bible, it's the foundational instruction for living.
It is hard for me to sometimes say no.
The house is unique in that it is considered the People's house. It initiates revenue bills as well as having the ability to elect the president in case of an electoral college tie. What is most unique is that as a congressional representative you represent the people and their interests.
The challenges the United States faces in the next decade include understanding our government and putting aside party propaganda for the sake of the people's interest. The threats from foreign adversaries, including the U.S. economy will have an impact
No, with today's political environment, it requires the representative immediately begin campaigning for the next term, rather than devoting sigular focus to representation. It would be beneficial to have it be 4 years, giving a representative to develop and execute policies.
I believe in term limits and I have advocated for them in my local races.
There was a jogger in the city of Walnut, who was the sole provider for his family, and to keep healthy he would jog every day at 6:00 a.m. One day this father was tragically killed by an immigrant who was facing deportation. The immigrant who was going to be deported told the arresting officers that he had purposely committed the crime of hitting the father with his car and killing him instantaneously, to avoid deportation.

With the senseless killing of the father, the family not only lost their father but also their income, eventually losing their home. There was no restitution for the family and to date the criminal has yet to be deported, with only having to serve a 4.5 years sentence for kiling an individual.

If I am elected, I will work to ensure that law-abiding citizens are better represented in the judicial process, by advocating for victims and making resources available to the victims.
An American tells a Russian, I can go to the white house and pound on the President's desk and say, "Mr. President, I don't like the way you're runniing the country." and the russian says, I can do the same, I can go to the Kremlin, poumd on the General Secretary's desk and say "Mr. General Secretary, I don't like the way the U.S. President is running his country!"

What is necessary for policy making is understanding and making accomodations for the best interst of the people.
I will use my vote wisely to ensure that it will not overburden the tax payor, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
