Eric Cioppa
Eric Cioppa was the Maine Superintendent of Insurance. Cioppa assumed office on June 1, 2011. Cioppa left office on April 1, 2022.
Biography
Cioppa joined the Bureau of Insurance in 1988 as a statistician III and served as the supervisor of the Workers’ Compensation section prior to becoming Deputy Superintendent in 1998.[1]

Maine Superintendent of Insurance (2011-2022)
After being named the acting superintendent in June of 2011, Cioppa was unanimously confirmed as superintendent effective September 27, 2011.[1]
