Eric Dinallo
Eric R. Dinallo (born August 7, 1963) is a former Superintendent of Insurance for New York State, nominated to the position by Governor Eliot Spitzer and confirmed by the New York State Senate in April 2007. On August 20, 2009, he announced his candidacy for the statewide office of attorney general, the seat vacated by Democrat Andrew Cuomo, who ran for governor in November.[1] Dinallo, however, failed to secure the party nomination on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, after receiving a little under eight percent of the vote.[2]
