Biography
Eric Hayhurst was born in West Virginia. He earned a bachelor's degree from West Virginia University in 2005 and a law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2009.[1]

- This campaign is about finding real solutions to the real problems West Virginia faces.
- I want to bring a fresh face and new ideas to the Legislature.
- I will represent the interests of West Virginia workers.
West Virginia has an uncontrolled opioid epidemic. We must tackle this problem head on as it manifests in so many other issues, from foster care, health and human services and our economy and jobs. I will work hard to find solutions to the epidemic.
Our infrastructure must be maintained, repaired and expanded. This doesn't just include roads and highways, but also utilities, broadband and cellular service. If we are going to expand and diversify our economy in West Virginia, this is key.
