Eric Henry grew up in Alamance County and is running for state legislature to help build a vibrant and sustainable community for all who live here. As president of TS Designs in Burlington for four decades, Eric is dedicated to the fight for a higher minimum wage, Medicaid expansion, and affordable healthcare. With personal and business ties to local agriculture, Eric strongly advocates adopting policies to protect our state's farmers and our environment.

"The issues have gotten worse - a broken health care system, a minimum wage stuck at $7.25, an agricultural system that has failed our farmers, schools and transportation systems that need improvement, and a blind eye turned to the impact of climate change," says Eric. "No one person or party has all the answers - the answers lie within our community."

  • A community cannot be successful unless everyone in the community has the opportunity to participate fully.
  • Access to healthcare and Medicaid expansion, a higher minimum wage, good schools and transportation systems are critical for our county.
  • We must work know to fight climate change and to plan ahead to protect our environment.
