“
|
I am running for office for several reasons:
- I feel am the best man to lead and serve the American people. There is no higher honor than this.
- Doing it for my Country. The United States is the best Country in the world, I am a patriotic person.
- Personal goals, for the longest time people would ask me about my career goals. I would give loosely defined answers such as "I want to be in a leadership position". It eventually became clear to me that I can not settle for the goal of being Secretary of State, or Vice-President. I am a competative person, I have to go for number 1.
- I have lived much of my life in depression. The root of it is being constantly beaten down by in-competence. In the Navy, you can only take so much of it before you finally start fighting back.
- Even though it has not been made public knowledge by the media, I have accomplished a lot in Military / Government Service. The next logical step for me is the Presidency.
