A recall effort in Geneva, Nebraska, to recall Eric Kamler was initiated in July 2019. Petitions needed to submit 331 valid signatures by September 16, 2019, to put the recall on the ballot.[1] Recall organizers failed to submit any signatures to the county clerk.[2]
Recall supporters
Petitions accused Kamler of being "financially, Socially, Ethically, irresponsible to the citizens of Geneva."[1]
Recall opponents
Kamler responded to the recall effort. He said, "I’m still trying to decipher what the reasons are. The ‘ethically’ and ‘socially’ ones are extremely vague."[3]

Petitioners were required to submit 332 valid signatures by September 16, 2019, in order to put the recall election on the ballot.[1] There were no signatures handed in to the Fillmore County clerk.[2]
