Eric Krauss was an Article I federal judge serving on the United States Court of Military Commission Review. Krauss joined the court on August 17, 2013. The court reviews military commission trials and is composed of military judges appointed by the Secretary of Defense and civilian judges appointed by the president.[1] Krauss is the current chief judge.[2]

Education

Krauss earned his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1986 and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1990. He is also graduated from the Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course in 1991 and the Judge Advocate Officer Graduate Course in 2001. Finally, he graduated from the United States Army Command and General Staff College in 2006.[3]
