Elections for the South Dakota House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election was held on June 7, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was March 29, 2016. Incumbent Patrick Kirschman (D) did not seek re-election.

Incumbent Karen Soli and Jamie Smith defeated Mike Myers and Eric Leggett in the South Dakota House of Representatives District 15 general election.[1][2]
