Eric Norris
Eric W. Norris is the chief judge for the Western Judicial Circuit of the 10th Superior Court District of Georgia.[1] He was appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal (R) on April 19, 2016, following the passage of House Bill 279 in 2015. The bill created a fourth judicial position on the Western Judicial Circuit Superior Court. Norris was appointed to serve as the first judge in the new position.[2]
Prior to this appointment, Norris served as the Chief Magistrate Judge of the Oconee County Magistrate Court.[3]
Biography
Norris earned a bachelor's degree from North Georgia College & State University and a J.D. from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va.[2]
