Eric Rodriguez (Texas)
Eric Rodriguez ran for election for Mayor of Corpus Christi in Texas. He lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
As of 2019, Rodriguez was pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. His professional experience includes working in environmental management from the Department of Defense. He has served as the NAVFAC vice president for AFGE Local 1005, as vice president of the Coastal Bend Young Democrats, as the Texas Congressional District 27 liaison for the Citizens Climate Lobby, and as a Nueces County delegate.[1][2] Rodriguez has worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Coastal Bend Sierra Club, Texas Sierra Club Political Committee, South Texas World Affairs Council, and served the NAACP as Environmental and Climate Justice Chair.[3]
