|- Representing the people; to have that I believe we need legislators that are not beholden to corporate interests. I promise to represent the people and have not taken a single cent from corporations.
- The rising cost of living is growing to be a bigger and bigger issue. Children who have lived here their whole lives are being forced to the mainland. I plan to implement financial literacy curriculum in schools to help prepare kids for the future.
- Helping kupuna is extremely important to me. I have met some who sleep on a matress of newspaper and it is terrible to me how we treat our most venerable members of society. I believe we need to implement more laws and programs to protect kupunas from poverty, scams, and elder abuse.
Prison Reform is something I am personally passionate about. The recidivism rate in our prisons is 50% and that is far too high. If we can improve the quality of our prisons and make it so people that have paid their debt to society have the tools they need to rejoin it we can cut down on future crimes. Less crimes means a safer state, lives saved, a better economy, and a freer people.
