Eric Stanton was a Republican candidate for District 31 of the Maine State Senate. Stanton withdrew from the election on June 22, 2018, but his name still appeared on the ballot.[1]

Stanton was a 2018 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Maine.[2] Stanton withdrew prior to the June 12, 2018, primary election date.
