Eric Su is a small business owner, community fitness trainer, and public service advocate running for the Illinois House of Representatives in District 21. He has over 20 years of professional experience in fitness, coaching, and entrepreneurship, and currently operates a mobile training business serving families and older adults across West Cook County. Su has been actively involved in local civic events and community initiatives and is focused on affordability, public safety, and strengthening support for working families and small businesses.
  • Affordability that works for real families The cost of living is squeezing working families, seniors, and small businesses. I’m running to push back on higher taxes, rising fees, and everyday costs—so people in District 21 can stay, work, and retire in the communities they love.
  • Public safety and accountability, without political extremes Our neighborhoods deserve to feel safe and supported. I believe in smart, practical public safety policies that support law enforcement, demand accountability, and keep violent crime off our streets—without turning public safety into a political talking point.
  • Local leadership, not career politics I’m a small business owner and coach, not a career politician. I show up, listen, and solve problems. District 21 deserves a representative who understands real life, works across differences, and puts the community first—not party agendas.
I am most passionate about affordability, public safety, and supporting working families and small businesses. Too many residents are being priced out of their own communities, so I am focused on policies that control taxes and fees, reduce everyday costs, and keep Illinois affordable for families and seniors. I also believe public safety should be practical and nonpolitical—supporting law enforcement, strengthening community safety, and ensuring accountability. Finally, as a small business owner, I am committed to cutting red tape, expanding workforce opportunities, and making government more responsive to the people it serves.
