Swanson faced two fellow incumbents and three challengers in his bid for re-election to one of three at-large seats on November 4, 2014.[1] Eric Swanson won the general election on November 4, 2014.

Hardy Black, Niccole Childs and Eric Swanson ran against challengers Kelly J. Gregg, Marcy M. Kittinger and Maria T. Gomez. Swanson and Childs won their bids for re-election, but Black was defeated by Kittinger.
